‘The Art of Giving’

A workshop to promote the art of sharing, of letting go, of giving something precious of oneself to another.

Attendees are invited to create a visual work that represents or evokes a sentiment of personal value. Pastels, pencils and water colour will be provided as well as a medium in A5 format.

Attendees will then be required to gift their creation to another member of the workshop whom they may not know. Each person will leave with a gifted piece of art.

Program

* 5 minutes – Introduction about the session and the facilitating artist

* 30 minutes – Period for attendees to individually create a visual work using the materials/media provided

* 30 minutes –  Discussion period for participants to air their views and feelings about creating and letting go of their creation

* 25 minutes – Period for general networking between participants and to discuss further with the Renee
